Toner is the beauty secret of many k-pop stars for flawless and dewy glowing skin.
Well to put it simply toner is water but so much more than water. Toner use to be some skin care product that no one cared about but these days it is one of the most important steps of every skincare routine. As I mentioned it is so much more than water, it is packed full of ingredients that work to improve your skin in amazing ways. Recently they have targeted toners where toners target certain skin types. You can get hydrating ones, ones for your enlarged pores or ones to just balance your skin, and more, you name it!
I cannot live without toners anymore and so can’t many of our favourite k-pop stars. Stars like popular boy group BTS members V, Jungkook, and others have mentioned that this is essential to their skincare routines. I swear by toners and still wonder why many people are either still unaware about it or don’t know its true purpose!
If you are reading this and have not ever used toner or have started but were lazy to add it as part of your routine? GO GET ONE NOW or ADD IT BACK INTO YOUR ROUTINE is my advice! However, keep at it, sometimes you’ll see results instantly while with other toners you’ll see results in 6 weeks or more! You won’t regret it trust me.
Don’t know where in your skincare routine you should add your toner, well toner is the first step after your cleansing routine. It’s the first step to take to restore your skin’s pH balance and prep it for further product applications such as ampoules, serums, moisturisers, and oils. Think toner as if it’s prepping your skin so it’s able to absorb other products better, kind of like a primer of makeup except this is a primer for skincare.
I think you’ve spent too long on this blog post now, go go go now and get some toner!
