Korean cleansing pads will leave your face clean and clear of all the nasty stuff that you accumulate throughout the day.
What: Cleansing pads
Recommended for: Most skin types if you have sensitive skin maybe patch test it out first
Formula: Lightweight oily texture
Packaging: Huge clear container with 40 white cotton pads inside.
Feel on the skin: Smooth and oily but the oily is needed to melt the makeup or other impurities
- 100% Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifer Oil) – as you guessed, coconut oil is extracted from coconuts! More precisely the kernels (or meat) of the coconut. Packed with vitamins, antioxidants and more to help not only to fight damages but also nourishes, moisturise, and soothe skin and hair.
- PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate– Mild emulsifier commonly used as a cleansing agent and is present in this product as this is a cleansing product! Does not leave greasy residue and also has skin-softening properties.
Look at this k-beauty gem! However like my previous post I am not a fan of the smell of coconuts, I don’t mind the drink but the smell gives me a headache. Don’t ask me why but I honestly have no idea hahaha. Anyways similar to the cleansing balm it is not as oily and icky as you may think so I rather like it. As my skin is on the oily side, especially during summer, I tend to avoid oils on my face but oils are much needed for cleansing purposes especially to melt all that makeup gunk.
It works and is in pad form as well! So it’s easy like you don’t have to grab the spatula and scoop the product into your palm them cleans your face kinda thing. You simply take a pad out and it’s ready for use, how easy is that! Love anything that makes my life easier. If you are worried about this product clogging your pores or stripping your skin, stress not as it doesn’t do that. So a oil-based PAD cleanser that actually works plus it doesn’t break you out!? You have to go try it now!
How to Use
1 – Using any side of the pad to wipe the entire face. If you wear waterproof eyeliner as I do, it may require more product to melt it. Simply just place it on the area where the eyeliner is for a little longer then swipe the pad.
2 – Rinse with warm water
3 – Rinse again with a water-based or foam cleanser (optional). The oil actually comes off really well with just water without leaving the skin feeling greasy.
Pros & Cons
- Massive Box – Ah mean the pads need to be held somewhere but seriously I don’t think it’s travel friendly at all.
- Removes waterproof makeup – Some cleansers claim that they remove everything, and it doesn’t especially waterproof products. This however does! It’s not perfect but near perfect!
Where to Buy
Final Verdict: 9/10
Application : 10/10
